We're excited to announce that the Heller MPP, PhD and MS/GHPM programs are now accepting applications for Fall 2025! Below we have a list of frequently asked questions and a list of resources that may be helpful as you start your application.

What is required for the application?
The application is designed to be accessible and is comprised of the following elements:
- The Heller online application, including biographic information, education history, and work history
- Statement of purpose
- Resume or CV
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- PhD only: Writing Sample
- International students only: TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test results, unless you qualify for an English Proficiency Waiver
- The MPP and PhD programs have extended their test-optional policy. PhD applicants who do not submit GRE scores must submit a quantitative statement. You can find more information on the quantitative statement on the PhD Application Requirements web page under “Standardized Test Scores”. The GRE is not required for the MS/GHPM program.

What are the deadlines for the application?
The deadline for PhD applications is December 15th.
The first deadline for MPP and MS/GHPM applications is January 15th.
