Get Started: Summer Career Academy
This four-week online course for incoming students helps jump start their career development journey right away by familiarizing them with career resources at Heller. New students receive an email invitation before the start of the fall semester. Over four weeks, students learn about the online career development system, Handshake; complete a career exploration self-assessment; create a Heller resume or CV; and upgrade their LinkedIn profile. You can also access Career Guides on the topics covered in the Summer Career Academy and more anytime on BConnect.
Stay Sharp: Career Development Programming
The Career Development Office offers regular educational programming throughout the year. These programs include workshops on developing your resume and cover letter, interviewing strategies, understanding the U.S. job market, leveraging the Heller School and Brandeis network, practicing your professional pitch, how to use LinkedIn in your job search, and many more.
