You’ll hear it again and again: The students you meet from all over the United States and the world are one of the best parts of your Heller experience. You’ll get to learn from international students with first-hand knowledge of the educational and bureaucratic hurdles to sustainable development in their countries. You’ll find advocates for social justice who bring their own experiences—as members of the LGBTQ community; as people of color; as students with disabilities—into their research and careers. You’ll expand your worldview as you learn from professors who have been at the forefront of peace negotiations and policy creation for decades.

Under the guidance of Associate Dean Maria Madison, the Heller community is working day by day to create an ever-more inclusive, supportive environment for students from all walks of life. Join those efforts and learn more about Associate Dean Madison’s vision on the Equity, Inclusion and Diversity site.
