The Heller School Recognized as a Leading Graduate School

U.S. News & World Report Ranks Heller #11 for Health Policy and Management and #15 for Social Policy

For its 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings, U.S. News & World Report once again ranked the Heller School for Social Policy and Management among the top public affairs graduate schools in two specialty categories. This year, Heller was recognized as #11 for health policy and management and #15 for social policy

“At the Heller School, we know that rigorous research, policy analysis and community engagement are essential tools for creating a more just, equitable, healthy and sustainable society,” says Sara Shostak, Academic Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Social Policy at Brandeis University. “Our faculty, researchers, students and alumni are leaders in applying the tools and insights of the social sciences to the most urgent challenges of our time, not only domestically, but around the world. The rankings announced today recognize the caliber, importance and impact of the work being accomplished at the Heller School.”
