Admissions and Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Pursuing a graduate degree is both a personal and financial investment. At the Heller School, we are committed to helping you identify and access the resources you need to make your degree a reality. Through a combination of scholarships, student loans, on-campus work, and external funding, we offer guidance and support in financing your education.

Fellowships & Scholarships

Loans & Federal Aid

  • Federal aid and loans (U.S. citizens and permanent residents): Eligible students can access federal loan and repayment options by visiting the Federal Student Aid website.
  • Private loans (U.S. and international students): In addition to federal loans, U.S. citizens and permanent residents may also consider private student loans. Some private loans are also available to international students.

External Funding & Work Opportunities

  • On-campus employment: Many students offset living expenses with part-time, on-campus work. These positions are separate from scholarship awards, giving you the flexibility to choose work that fits your interests and schedule.
  • External scholarships: Students are strongly encouraged to begin their search for external funding early. We maintain informational lists of funding opportunities for both U.S. citizens and international applicants.
