The Heller School for Social Policy and Management

Accelerated Track

The accelerated track is an intensive program designed for students with three to four years of previous professional experience in the development sector or a related field. Students typically complete the accelerated program in 9 to 12 months. They enter with all in-coming students in late August and pursue the same first-year curriculum as all other SID students. Students in the accelerated program write a master’s paper that applies development theory and skills to solving a development problem, and they present their research at the SID Capstone event in May.
