Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Citizen Leadership Program

Retreat Logistics

The Segal Program covers the cost of travel, lodging and meals for all Segal Fellows who came to the Retreat. For future Retreats Fellows may see the below logistics planned for their visit.

Time and Location

  • Programming began officially at 3:30 pm (EST) on Friday at the Babson Executive Conference Center, with the Welcome Reception at 5pm, and ended at the same location at 1:30pm (EST) on Sunday. However if the participant was a new Fellow, part of a cohort this year, or attending the retreat for the first time, there were specific sessions prior to this at 2:00 pm.

Hotel lodging was available at the conference center at no cost to Fellows. The rooms are hotel-style with desks, showers and beds inside the room. Segal Fellows were in double rooms, pre-paired with each other. The rooming list can be found as another document in the website. More information about the capabilities and amenities at the hotel can be found at their website.

Meals for Segal Fellows were covered by the Segal Program during the retreat. All meals took place at the Sorenson Commons section of the conference center. This included the Friday reception/dinner through Sunday lunch. Throughout the retreat, participants had access to a large assortment of different foods and desserts. During programming a snack and coffee station was made available for all participants outside of the conference rooms. Special attention was made for those with food restrictions or allergies
