Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Citizen Leadership Program

Become an Internship Site

The Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Citizen Leadership Program is pleased to offer our partner organizations the opportunity to work with a carefully selected Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Fellow through mission-driven summer internships that address important social needs.  Fellows (Heller graduate students or Brandeis undergraduates) will apply their knowledge, skills, and passions to advance the needs of the internship site and to advance social justice.  They have been selected from a competitive pool of applicants and have been prepared to leverage their best for their internship by completing our citizen leadership curriculum.

We place 6 sophomore, junior or Master in Public Policy students from Brandeis University/The Heller School mission-based summer internships that last at least 8+ weeks. Host site matching usually takes place in February-April for internships over the coming summer. More information is available from Program Director Susanna Flug-Silva (flugsilva(at)brandeis.edu).
