Jenn Recinos
2013 Brandeis Undergraduate Segal Fellow
Jennifer Recinos graduated from Brandeis University in 2014 with a BA in Film and International Studies. She is passionate about travel, arts and culture. As a youth Jenn benefited tremendously from local nonprofits that provided her mentors through Americorps programs, so after graduating she decided to spend a year of service advising underserved students like herself in her hometown of Providence, R.I. She worked full time as a High School College Adviser with the Brown University College Advising Corps, housed through Swearer Center for Public Service. Jenn also volunteered part time as an Artist Mentor teaching youth to work with digital media at a local nonprofit, New Urban Arts, and she was an Admissions Counselor at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Jenn was then Associate Director of First Generation Experience at the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, Jenn is Associate Director of Admissions and International Recruitment at Emerson College.
She spent her Segal summer internship at the Gay Straight Alliance Network in San Francisco, where her supervisor was Segal Fellow Alan Ratliff.
