Shawn Wilds is a 2018 AmeriCorps Alumni Segal Fellow. Shawn currently resides in Washington, DC. She moved to DC to do a year of service with AmeriCorps, where she served as a volunteer coordinator for two years at Reading Partners. She then transitioned to For Love of Children where she managed programming for middle and high school students, in addition to building out post-secondary and scholarship support for the program's alum. Shawn currently serves as a coordinator and college persistence coach for DC Public Schools.
