Raquél Pérez is a TEDx Speaker, Forbes Fellow, and AmeriCorps Rhode Island Alumna. She served for the past 2.5 years as the Chief Nursing Officer & Director of Communications for STAND+ shoes; previously working five years as a bedside nurse in various specialties. Outside of healthcare, Raquél is an advocate for DEI and affordable housing initiatives––inspired by her AmeriCorps year acting as a Resident Services Coordinator for families living in affordable housing. Raquél aspires to one day work as a motivational public speaker.
