Jess Kent serves as the Senior Director of Mediation & Training at Community Mediation Services. Jess completed a Masters in Organizational Behavior from Claremont Graduate University & her Bachelors in Psychology from Brandeis University. Jess completed her Segal summer internship at the Center for Progressive Leadership and her Segal Coach was Dr. Robert Jones. 

Originally from Buffalo, Jess worked at the Law Office of Lindy Korn as a Mediation Specialist to prepare plaintiffs, experiencing employment discrimination, for alternative dispute resolutions. During those three years, she also trained as a mediator for child custody and divorce cases through Erie County Family Court. She volunteers as a facilitator for Answering the Call through New Politics Leadership Academy and serves on the board of FamilyKind and Hostel Buffalo-Niagara.
