
Lydia Casmier Anway

Lydia Casmier Anway is the Director of Economic Justice at Dēmos, a public policy organization working to build a just, inclusive, multiracial democracy and economy.
Lydia has over a decade of experience running strategic programs and services to build power for communities of color. Prior to joining Dēmos, she was Associate Director of Racial Economic Justice at Prosperity Now, where she led a portfolio of community wealth-building and technical assistance programs for community development financial institutions, nonprofits, and small businesses.
Lydia has an MPP and MBA from The Heller School and a BA in Political Science from Howard University. She spent her Segal Fellowship summer doing research on higher education and racial equity at the United Negro College Fund.
