Seeking Healthcare Practitioners for a Focus Group about Doula Care for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Are you a doula, nurse practitioner, certified midwife, or related health professional that cares for people in labor and delivery in the United States? We want to learn more about your experiences serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Looking for Disabled People of Color Who Are Self-Directing Their Services
The Community Living Equity Center is recruiting participants for a study on self-direction and community living outcomes for people of color. Self-direction means people have options to make decisions about the type of services they get, when they get services, and who helps them. You may be eligible to participate if: (a) you are a disabled person of color; (b) you self-direct your services; and (c) you are 18 years of age or older.
Understanding One Care Members’ Experiences with Person-Centered Care Coordination and Care Planning
A team of researchers from the DPC and CLPC want to use information from this project to help make sure that One Care (a program for people who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid in Massachusetts) can help people live well in their community. The goal of this research project is to strengthen the integration of Independent Living Philosophy and the Recovery Model into the whole-person approach of One Care. We want to understand what person-centered care planning means to the people we interview.
To do so, we are interviewing:
- One Care members about their experiences with care planning and care coordination in One Care, and
- One Care members about their perspectives on areas of improvement in care coordination and care planning to improve people’s ability to live meaningful lives in the community.
To be eligible to participate in the research project, you should meet some of the following requirements:
- You are a resident of Massachusetts.
- You have Medicare and Medicaid (MassHealth).
- You are a member of One Care (Commonwealth Care Alliance, Tufts Health One Care, or United Healthcare Connected)
- You have a care coordinator.
- You have a care plan.
