The Lurie Institute for Disability Policy is seeking focus group participants to advise us on designing an online continuing education course for practicing obstetric care clinicians about improving the safety and accessibility of perinatal care for women with a range of disabilities. The focus groups are part of a research study being conducted by researchers at Brandeis University and at Massachusetts General Hospital and funded by the National Institutes of Health (IRB ID: 25011R-E).
Participation entails:
- Two hours for one focus group over Zoom.
- During the focus group, answering questions about:
- Topics that should be included in an online continuing education course for obstetric care clinicians about improving the safety and accessibility of perinatal care for women with a range of disabilities; and
- Preferences for how the online course should present information to optimize learning and to attract practicing obstetric care clinicians to take the course.
- Privacy: First names only will be used throughout the focus group. No information about your identity will be shared or linked to focus group responses. Participants are expected to keep the content of the discussion confidential.
- We will send you a $100 Amazon gift card as thanks for your time.
Focus group findings will primarily be used to inform development of the online education course on improving the safety and accessibility of perinatal care for women with disabilities. However, we may also use findings to produce scholarly publications or presentations, without identifying any participants.
