Bryan Cain, PhD

President, Endicott College

Dr. Bryan Cain is the President at Endicott College. Dr. Cain has been instrumental in launching initiatives like a $75 million fundraising campaign and integrated marketing strategies that have significantly enhanced the college’s reputation and student engagement. Dr. Cain holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and has a strong background in communications and public administration. Before joining Endicott College, he held leadership roles at Oakland University and McLaren Medical Management. He has also taught marketing and communications at various institutions, including Endicott College.

Sara Quay, PhD

Provost, Endicott College

Dr. Quay brings to this role deep knowledge of both Endicott and higher education. She has worked alongside faculty, deans, and directors in the undergraduate, Van Loan, and graduate programs for over two decades, first as Assistant Dean of Arts & Sciences, then as Dean of the School of Education and Director of the Endicott Scholars Program. While at Endicott, Sara has been instrumental in developing new majors, programs, and partnerships. During the pandemic, she collaborated with faculty and staff to develop and implement Faculty Teaching Institutes focused on the urgent instructional needs our community faced at that time. In 2021, Sara was appointed the first Vice Provost at Endicott College, bringing her shared management approach to her work with the offices of International Education, Career & Internship, Halle Library, the Registrar, and Endicott’s Assessment initiatives.

Mark Herlihy, PhD

Dean of School of Social Sciences, Communications, & Humanities

Dr. Mark Herlihy started at Endicott in 2001 as an Assistant Professor of History. He teaches "Salem Witch Trials," "Boston History," "Public History," and "American Suburbia," among other courses. He has presented papers at meetings of the American Studies Association, the Organization of American Historians, and at the Massachusetts Historical Society's Boston Immigration and Urban History Seminar. He is completing a book on the history of Revere Beach. Dr. Herlihy has been very active in the New England Historical Association and served a term as President of the organization. A native of Winchester, Massachusetts, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Tufts University and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in American Civilization at Brown University.

Warren Jaferian

Dean of Global Education, Endicott College

Dean Warren Jaferian has served as Dean of International Education at Endicott College since 2011. Prior to academia, he spent two decades as Global Vice President at Sodexo, leading strategy and operations across multiple countries. His global experience includes work in 11 countries and travel to over 110, including Peace Corps service in Mali. At Endicott, Jaferian directs study abroad programs, international student services, and campus global initiatives, advocating for immersive cultural experiences. He emphasizes pushing students beyond comfort zones, citing his own transformative travels and challenges. His work includes expanding global internship opportunities and fostering partnerships for cross-cultural understanding.
