Maggie Sheets is an active advocate for people with disabilities. She writes reports on topics such as food insecurity, housing, and domestic violence issues as they effect people with disabilities. In the past she has also worked in the healthcare and social science field researching topics such as how to improve medical education and issues faced by minority groups in their attempts to get adequate healthcare. She currently provides technical support and administrative assistance to the Disability Policy Consortium's My Ombudsman Program.
