Eunjung Jee, Research Associate

Eunjung Jee is a Research Associate at the Institute for Economic and Racial Equity (IERE) at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. Eunjung is finishing her Ph.D. in the Department of Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research areas include labor economics, economics of family, and quantitative methodologies. She is particularly interested in studying the differences in women’s human capital development and labor market outcomes by race/ethnicity, motherhood, and family wealth; and the impacts of macroeconomic changes on these differences. Her most recent study explores the impacts of macroeconomic changes on the trajectories of contemporary U.S. women’s education mediated by family finances. She also works with scholars at the Center for Employment Equity at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for analyzing the sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination in the workplace.
