Dr. Miriam Heyman Awarded Heller School’s 2025 Early Career Research Investigator Award

Miriam Heyman, Research Scientist at the Lurie Institute and Project Manager of the National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities, was awarded the Heller School’s 2025 New Investigator Award. Miriam is a strong advocate, scholar, and leader at the Lurie Institute, who has made a profound impact with her work.

In honor of this achievement, the Lurie Institute Director, Dr. Monika Mitra shared, "Thanks to Miriam’s unwavering commitment, the Center has become a vibrant hub— nationally and internationally— for advancing the rights, experiences, and aspirations of parents with disabilities."
