Teresa Nguyen is a Research Associate II for the Community Living Policy Center within the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy at Brandeis University. She proudly identifies as an Asian American woman with a disability and received her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus. Her work is focused around healthcare policies and systems improvement for vulnerable populations. Teresa has experience in both federal and state-level health programs and policy development, including previous service within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, as a Program Officer for the DD Act Programs. She is thrilled to continue molding programs and policies by contributing to disability research and engaging the disability community in all aspects of her work.
