Angel Love Miles received her doctorate in Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland College Park and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She specializes in intersectional research, and is a
published scholar, professional
speaker, teacher, and advocate on issues pertaining to identity, social justice, and inequality, especially as they impact women and people of color with disabilities. Her article entitled “
