Carolyn Faith Hoffman

Carolyn Faith HoffmanCarolyn Faith Hoffman, PhD, MPH, is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy. Her overarching research goal is to support accessible and equitable reproductive health care for individuals with disabilities.

Carolyn received her Master of Public Health from Boston University in 2020 as part of an accelerated “4+1” BA/MPH program, serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer from June 2020 to June 2021. She received her PhD in health services research from George Mason University in 2025. Her doctoral dissertation examined the association of health insurance coverage type, race/ethnicity, and disability status on receiving an endometriosis diagnosis among individuals in the United States.

Carolyn is an active member of several professional associations including AcademyHealth and the American Public Health Association. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book, practicing yoga, and spending time with her dog, Chick.
