Amy AbuShanab '21 is the Associate Director for Administration and Engagement. Amy plays central role in supporting the Lurie Institute's mission by creating and implementing internal administrative processes, managing the communications team, and spearheading community engagement and education programs. Amy previously worked with the Institute on Economic and Racial Equity as their operations manager. Amy served as vice chair to the Brandeis University Staff Advisory Committee, the elected representative body of staff from 2018–2020. She is also a part of numerous search committees and staff initiatives.
Amy earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Heller School and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a focus on Race and Ethnicity from Texas A&M University.
