Anne-Marie Gomes

Anne-Marie Gomes, PhD is a research scientist with expertise in disability, health/behavioral health, and social policy. Her work spans research, evaluation, and Anne-Marie Gomes - Lurie Institute for Disability Policysystems improvement across diverse sectors. She is particularly interested in how social policies and service systems influence opportunity, participation, and quality of life.

She is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy at Brandeis University, contributing to work focused on advancing community living and health equity for people with disabilities of color leaving institutional settings. Previously, she worked in the public sector, where she led initiatives related to behavioral health. She received her doctorate from the State University of New York at Albany.
