Jenny Wicks, PhD'23

Jenny Wicks, PhD’23, is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Behavioral Health. Jenny received her doctoral degree in psychology from Brandeis University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Skidmore College. She has 11 years of experience conducting research using quantitative and qualitative methods. She has a background in social, clinical, cognitive, and developmental psychology and specializes in mental health research. Her doctoral research investigated risk and resilience factors for depression and anxiety, with a particular focus on developing models of social support. She also has experience managing clinical trials and working with children, adolescents, and adult patients with a range of mental health concerns. Jenny’s current work includes: the evaluation of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) to improve quality of behavioral health and care coordination services; evaluation of the nurse care manager and recovery coach MAT model at community health centers; development of a community needs assessment plan for CCBHCs; and qualitative data assistance for the Hub and Spoke Opioid Treatment Networks project.
