In collaboration with the Boston Center for Independent Living and four community members, we created a video and brochure to highlight how we can and why we must trust the lived experience of people with disabilities and/or substance use disorder. The video uses clear language and examples, and the brochure version summarizes the video in one image.

In collaboration with the Boston Center for Independent Living and four community members, we created a one-pager for providers working with patients with disabilities who also have opioid use disorder. Written in clear, straightforward language, this guide provides tips and suggestions to ensure that patients’ dignity and autonomy is respected when receiving treatment for their chronic pain and opioid use disorder. 

Accommodating the Symptoms of TBI  

The Ohio Valley Center for Brain Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation, with contributions from the Minnesota Department of Human Services State Operated Services, created this training guide for addiction treatment providers working with patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). This guide seeks to train providers to recognize common symptoms of TBI, incorporate compensatory strategies into their practices, and increase the odds of treatment success for those with TBI.
