Here’s what life is like as a Heller student:

You take classes with passionate peers who want to create social change as much as you do. You develop lifelong friendships with fellow students from all over the world and celebrate cultural diversity through food, dance and community discussion. You get the best of both worlds as you live and learn in a vibrant New England town while you’re just a quick train or car ride away from Boston and Cambridge, full of research and career opportunities.

When you come to Heller, your classmate could be a development professional from Egypt who’s been in the field for 20 years—or a recent grad from Texas who volunteered with AmeriCorps for two years after college. Learning in this diverse environment challenges every student to consider new points of view, and offers the unique opportunity to learn not only from our experienced faculty, but students who are nonprofit leaders, grassroots activists, policy analysts and more.
