HS 240B — Professional Writing

Yields half-course credit.

Provides students with training and regular practice in policy-oriented writing for development purposes. Based on the most common types of writing in development organizations, such as memos, reports, policy briefs, position papers and proposals, the course reviews the structure of these various forms and enables students to practice and improve their writing skills for development purposes. Usually offered every year.
