AACSB Accreditation

The Heller School’s business degrees—the Social Impact MBA and the Executive MBA for Physicians—are accredited by AACSB, the accrediting organization for the best business schools worldwide. Less than five percent of all business programs have earned AACSB accreditation.

Only the best business schools can meet the consistent, demanding requirements of AACSB accreditation. Attending an AACSB-accredited program means that you are not only getting the best education, it also sends a message to employers that you’ve met the highest standards in the industry.

The initial AACSB accreditation process takes up to two years, and is reviewed every five years to ensure top-notch quality. In order to maintain accreditation, business programs must demonstrate that they satisfy AACSB’s expectations related to strategic management of faculty and other resources, student-faculty interaction, curriculum management, and the effective deployment of learning goals.
