HS 296F — Current Issues in Healthcare Management

Meets for one-half semester and yields half-course credit.

Studies improving health and health care mainly in public organizations in Low and Middle Income Countries, with some overlap to the private, non-profit sector, by means of improving management practices. The emphasis is on managerial function and improving performance of the health system and policies. Usually offered every year.
