HS 321F — Designing and Implementing Health Programs and Policies in Global Settings

Meets for one-half semester and yields half-course credit.

Links health policy and program design with implementation. We’ll use a series of global “teaching” cases and scenarios to build analytical and decision-making skills in the design and implementation of health policies and programs that consider “real” world constraints and opportunities, not theoretical ideals. Classroom debate will deepen your understanding of pragmatic strategies and tactics that ensure a successful design-to-implementation continuum. Usually offered every year.
