How-to's

How to use a QR code

1. Open the camera app on your phone

2. Point the camera at the QR code

3. A notification or link will appear on your screen

4. Tap to open the website, app, or other content linked by the QR code

How To Download Apps

1. Open the Play Store: Find and tap the App Store (on an iPhone) or Google Play (on a Samsung) icon on your home screen or in your app drawer. 

2. Search for the app: Tap the search bar at the top of the screen, type the name of the app, and tap the search icon. 

3. Install the app: Tap the green "Install" or "Get" button. If the app is not free, you will see the price instead and will need to select your payment method. You will be asked to enter your password, use face ID, or fingerprint to confirm your download

4. Open the app: Once the download and installation are complete, tap "Open" to launch the app, or find its icon on your home screen or in your or app drawer

  • Do not purchase anything from ads
  • Think about putting a passcode on your phone to prevent anyone from getting into it 
  • Do not share your passwords for your phone, apps, or websites
  • Do not give anyone access to your gift card

If you receive a text message or email with any links you don’t recognize, do not click on them.
