The resources listed below offer recovery and wellness-related activities and support that participants enrolled in the Digital Resources Study may find helpful, in addition to services at DRP. Participants are encouraged to try some of these options and/or find other digital recovery resources that work for them.

Please note that neither DRP nor the Brandeis research team are affiliated with the apps listed below. This is a sample of digital resource options that offer tools and activities associated with recovery and wellness, and they should not be used as a substitute for DRP's services or any other support you're currently receiving. Please use these resources in addition to your current recovery plan.

App Privacy Information

We’re sharing this data privacy information to empower you to make informed decisions about the resources you use and the information you share within the given application.

  • Be aware that we can’t control how phone apps use your information, and we cannot control the information you share in apps online. If you wouldn’t want the public knowing something about you, don’t share it on a community forum or social media post.
  • For recovery-focused apps, we recommend you use a pseudonym (first name only, or your initials, or a made-up name) or a non-identifying email address when you register or set up the app to ensure your participation in recovery activities remains private from the app developer.
  • Please note that you are subject to the specific Terms of Service and Privacy Policies of each app. Data collected by these apps is outside the control of the study team.
