Joe Silcox, MA, is a Research Associate (Project Manager) for Dr. Traci Green at the Opioid Policy Research Collaborative. Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Saint Anselm College and his master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts - Boston (UMass Boston) in Applied Sociology. Joe is currently a PhD Candidate in Sociology at UMass Boston and specializes in research on substance use, stigma, identity, harm reduction and social control.
