Katherine Gagen, MPP/MBA'23

Katherine (she/her) is the Sillerman Center’s Outreach and Engagement Specialist.  She is a dual-degree Master of Public Policy and Master of Business Administration student at the Heller School.

Katherine graduated cum laude from Trinity College with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Hispanic Studies in 2016. After graduation, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in Argentina. Her most recent role was at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences where she served as the Program Associate for American Institutions, Society, and the Public Good. In this position, she was responsible for coordinating the activities of multiple projects, including the implementation and dissemination of the Commission on the Practice of Democratic Citizenship's final report, Our Common Purpose: Reinventing American Democracy for the 21st Century. In addition to her role at the Sillerman Center, Katherine is also currently an intern at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy on the Reduced Poverty and Spatial Inequality team, where she supports the Legacy City Initiative.
