A graduate of the Heller School’s Master of Public Policy (MPP) program, Katie arrived at Brandeis with broad research interests in housing policy, law and inequality, and race-ethnic relations. She previously completed a Master’s degree in sociology at McGill University in 2016, with support from the U.S. Fulbright Program. After completing her first MA, Katie worked for a period as a research assistant at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, investigating reporting standards around conflict of interest in clinical practice guideline development. Katie's research focuses on housing segregation.
