2025 AHSR Virtual Mentoring Program
Organized by the Brandeis-Harvard SPIRE Center
Organized by the Brandeis-Harvard SPIRE Center
We are excited to announce the 2025 virtual AHSR mentoring program for students and early career faculty, sponsored by the Brandeis-Harvard SPIRE Center! This program matches mentees with mentors based on research interests to discuss topics that may include career development, manuscript and proposal ideas and strategies, or balancing obligations. We hope this experience helps expand your professional network.
Mentees are students or early career faculty who received their terminal degree in the past 5 years and are pursuing a career in addiction health services research.
The ongoing success of this program is due to the wonderful mentors who enjoy welcoming new researchers to the field. Mentors must have a terminal degree and experience in addiction health services research. Mid-career and senior researchers are encouraged to volunteer – you have a lot to share; consider volunteering next year!
Participation in the program includes one virtual meeting with your mentor or mentee in October or November 2025 – where you take things from there is up to you.
The SPIRE Center (NIDA P30DA035772) offers mentoring and other opportunities including mentored pilot papers, policy and methods webinars, and a year-long mentoring program. For more information or questions, contact Audrey Hildebrandt at ahildebrandt@brandeis.edu.
