Brian DeVoe is a data analyst at the Institute for Child, Youth and Family Policy at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
DeVoe’s work focuses on educational, health and environmental, and socioeconomic indicators for the Child Opportunity Index at diversitydatakids.org. In addition, he provides visualization, statistical analysis, and data management support.
DeVoe’s background is in mathematics and statistics. His research interests are in mathematical epidemiology and in public health policy relating to the Covid-19 pandemic. He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in applied mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
