Galina Zolotusky is a Senior Statistical Programmer at the Schneider Institutes for Health Policy at Brandeis University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and has extensive experience in different fields of applied mathematics, mostly statistics and numerical modeling.
She has extensive experience working with huge datasets of Medicare data and did programming using statistical packages.
She worked with differential equations doing numerical modeling and also analytical solutions.

Galina Zolotusky is a Senior Statistical Programmer at the Schneider Institutes for Health Policy at Brandeis University. She holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and has extensive experience in different fields of applied mathematics, mostly statistics and numerical modeling. Currently she is working as a programmer doing various analyses and providing consulting for applying statistical methods and using statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, STATA, SUDAAN) in different areas of medical and social research. She also has extensive experience working with huge files (tens of millions observations) of Medicare HCFA (now CMS) data, as she worked on several projects with CMS data for many years. She has worked not only as a programmer but also as a member of a research team implementing new methods together with other researchers.

Prior to holding a programmer position at Brandeis University she was employed by ST Systems Corporation as a Senior Programmer developing algorithms and software for weather forecasting. She also worked as a Senior Engineer at International Geophysical Center, Academy of Science of the USSR in Moscow, doing mathematical modeling in geophysical and medical research.
