Brian Roach

Adjunct Lecturer


Dr. Brian Roach holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Policy Analysis from the University of California, Davis, and a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the Pennsylvania State University. He is currently a Senior Research Associate at the Global Development and Environment Institute at Tufts University. Dr. Roach is a recent co-author of four economics textbooks: Microeconomics in Context (2014), Macroeconomics in Context (2014), Principles of Economics in Context (2014), and Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (2013). His research focuses on the economic analysis of environmental policies, but he has also studied other issues including economic inequality, human development, corporate power, and tax policies.
