This study will investigate racial and ethnic disparities in pathways to diagnosis and early service utilization within the vulnerable population of children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

"The Health Care Experiences of Asian Children with Special Health Care Needs on Health Care Access, Service Utilization, and Quality of Care"

This study will investigate current evidence of the extent and determinants of health care disparities of Asian children with special health care needs compared to non-Hispanic White children with special health care needs using mixed methods.

"A Nurse Practitioner Model for Delivering Primary and Coordinated Care to Adults with Disabilities"

This grant supports the work of a collaborative team from the Starr Center on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the UMass Lowell School of Nursing, and CLASS, Inc., a service provider, that will (1) design and plan the implementation of a nurse practitioner model for delivering primary and coordinated care to adults with disabilities who are receiving day habilitation services, and (2) evaluate the design and planning processes using a participatory and iterative approach.
