Tuesday Talks: "Learning from Outliers: New Approaches to Measuring and Discovering High Performance Health Care Organizations"

Altman Amphitheater (G1), Irving Schneider and Family Building

12:30 - 1:45 pm

Jon Chilingerian, Associate Professor; Director, PhD Training Program in Health Services; Research Director, MD-MBA Program; and Director, Executive Education, presents.

This talk submits the following hypothesis - clinical managers are more likely to discover innovative ways to increase value while reducing costs if they measure and evaluate the best results observed in practice. Frontier analysis will be introduced as an alternative methodology for measuring, assessing, and improving health care performance.

Tuesday Talks is a special series of talks by Heller Faculty and Researchers on select Tuesdays throughout the year. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.
