Cost of Attendance

Using University estimates and exact costs , whenever possible, will help you develop a realistic budget for graduate school.  The cost of attendance includes living expenses, tuition, cost of educational materials and health insurance coverage.  All students in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are required to carry an approved health insurance policy.  Please note that the cost of attendance does not include any financial aid which may be awarded.

The Heller School is committed to offering a high-quality program that is affordable.  We are fortunate to be able to award Heller Social Policy (HSP) Awards of up to $10,000 per academic year to students whose careers will lead them to work in the nonprofit, governmental, or nongovernmental sector, to help alleviate the cost of tuition.    In addition to the Social Policy Awards, students are encouraged to investigate other forms of funding and financial aid.
