HORNSTEIN: THE JEWISH PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM @ BRANDEIS

AS JEWISH AGENCIES NATIONWIDE face an increasingly complex environment, the next generation of leaders for these agencies must be prepared to create innovative and effective organizations.

Leaders must have the perspective of top business professionals and comprehensive knowledge of the needs of the Jewish community. The dual MBA/MA degree, offered by Heller in partnership with Hornstein: The Jewish Professional Leadership Program @ Brandeis University, will provide you with this powerful combination of cutting-edge skills and values-based orientation.

Applicants to the dual degree program will apply through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

FOCUS OF THE PROGRAM

This intensive and unique curriculum will train you in the theory and practice of group and community work, in classical and contemporary Jewish studies, in the structure and function of today's Jewish communities, and in the organization and delivery of human services.

The dual degree spans 21 months, beginning in September. There are 20 core courses: approximately 10 at Heller, including the Team Consulting Project, and 10 at Hornstein, including a seminar in Israel. The program also includes supervised field experiences at Jewish organizations and an array of seminars with prominent Jewish leaders.
