Negotiation is something that we do everyday in the organizations where we work—we negotiate for compensation, opportunities, resources, among other factors. Organizational contexts shape these negotiations. To the degree that organizations are gendered in the sense that policies and practices can have differential impacts on different groups, negotiation offers the possibility for change.
