SINCE ITS INCEPTION FIFTY YEARS AGO, Heller has embraced social issues of the day and has educated students whose passion is applying creative solutions to societal problems. As the Heller School reaches 50, this is a significant milestone for Brandeis, and for everyone who has been instrumental in creating this fabulous combination of new knowledge and commitment to social justice. As the school lights its 50th candle, the global economy is readjusting, and the issues of equality, health-care access, children and families, sustainable development, aging, philanthropy, disabilities, and disparities are more pertinent than ever. Our leaders in Washington, DC are generating more optimism in the way policy is being created and applied. We look forward to sharing that optimism during Heller's anniversary celebration with creative discussions about innovative policy ideas that promise to move the world forward.

Join us and the larger Heller community to discuss these issues and enjoy time with classmates, colleagues, faculty, alumni, staff and students as we celebrate a half-century of knowledge advancing social justice. You won’t want to miss this singular event to share ideas, reminisce and have fun with the entire Heller family. Check out our weekend program, and plan to be with us for good food, dancing, and stimulating discussions. Mark your calendar!

And while you are waiting for the fun and festivities to begin, please write to us with your memories about Heller.
Your reflections will be posted on this site with a photo, if you include one. Be sure to let us know if we can include your email address so others may be in touch with you if they wish.

Check this site often for alumni reflections and up to date details of the weekend. Suggestions? Please contact me.
