Thank you to all who attended the Heller School's 50th Anniversary weekend celebration! Over 400 alumni and friends of Heller came back to campus to toast the past 50 years and look ahead to the next 50. Keep checking this page for mementos of the weekend, including the 50th anniversary issue of the Heller alumni newsletter.
SINCE ITS INCEPTION FIFTY YEARS AGO, Heller has embraced social issues of the day and has educated students whose passion is applying creative solutions to societal problems. As the Heller School reaches 50, this is a significant milestone for Brandeis, and for everyone who has been instrumental in creating this fabulous combination of new knowledge and commitment to social justice. As the school lights its 50th candle, the global economy is readjusting, and the issues of equality, health-care access, children and families, sustainable development, aging, philanthropy, disabilities, and disparities are more pertinent than ever. Our leaders in Washington, DC are generating more optimism in the way policy is being created and applied. Heller's anniversary celebration shared that optimism, with creative discussions about innovative policy ideas that promise to move the world forward.
It's not too late to share your memories of Heller. Your reflections will be posted on this site with a photo, if you include one. Be sure to let us know if we can include your email address so others may be in touch with you if they wish.
